1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Plain Calendar ("the Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Application.
2. Service Description
Plain Calendar is a Windows desktop application that integrates with Google Calendar to help you manage your schedule. The Application allows you to:
- View your Google Calendar events
- Create, edit, and delete calendar events
- Synchronize events between your local device and Google Calendar
- Access your calendar data offline
3. Google Calendar Integration
The Application uses Google Calendar API and requires you to authorize access to your Google Calendar. By using this feature:
- You grant the Application permission to read and modify your Google Calendar data
- You understand that the Application will store calendar data locally on your device
- You can revoke access at any time through your Google Account settings
- The Application complies with Google API Services User Data Policy
4. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your Google account credentials
- All actions performed through the Application using your account
- Ensuring your use of the Application complies with applicable laws
- Backing up important calendar data
- Using the Application only for lawful purposes
5. Data Storage and Privacy
The Application:
- Stores calendar data locally on your Windows device
- Does not transmit your data to any third-party servers (except Google Calendar)
- Does not collect analytics, usage statistics, or personal information
- Encrypts stored data using Windows Data Protection API

6. Service Availability
We strive to provide reliable service, but:
- The Application is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation
- We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time
- Service availability depends on Google Calendar API availability
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- Loss or corruption of calendar data
- Damages resulting from service interruptions
- Issues caused by Google Calendar API or third-party services
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
8. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Application are owned by the developer and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not:
- Reverse engineer or decompile the Application
- Modify or create derivative works
- Distribute or sell the Application
9. Updates and Changes
We may:
- Release updates to improve functionality or fix bugs
- Modify these Terms of Service at any time
- Notify you of significant changes through the Application or email
- Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
10. Termination
You may stop using the Application at any time by:
- Uninstalling the Application from your device
- Revoking Google Calendar access in your Google Account settings
We reserve the right to terminate or restrict access if you violate these terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict of law principles.
